Recording, recording. Shows!

Ending a long hiatus from performing.  Show coming up in May and some to be announced.  Also continue (sigh...) to work on a CD with Mark Whitcomb at DNA studios.  Fits and starts, fits and starts...but it will come.  Some new songs in the works, as well!

Farewell to Steve Schad!

I must say a bittersweet goodbye to Steve Schad, whom I am so grateful to have been able to make music with over the past 4 1/2 years.  Steve is relocating to Memphis, TN to be a full-time musician.  I wish him the best.

Back from the Rocky Mountain Song School and Folks Fest

As usual, I return from Lyons, CO with ample inspiration and songwriting fodder.  I had the opportunity to sit in songwriting workshops with Lynn Miles, Vance Gilbert, Mary Gauthier and Bonnie Hayes.  Planet Bluegrass is an inspired group of music lovers who are doing much good in this world--well beyond just music.  I have endless gratitude for what they have created.  Check them out at http://www.planetbluegrass.com.

Make Music Madison!

We had a great time at Make Music Madison with Heather and Duncan McFarlane, Nick Costanzo, Sarah Williams, Brian Daly, Brad Grahm, Sandra Peterson, Vanessa Tortolano gracing the stage.  This event is one I hope the city continues each year.  It was such a celebration of music and the wealth of creativity that Madison harbors.
